Location
Manado is located on the northern tip of the orchid-shaped island of Sulawesi. Its geographic location places it along the equator, providing superb diving conditions all year long. The monsoon squall is the only minor disturbance from an otherwise excellent weather conditions. Marine Life
Great walls underwater consisting of many nooks, crevices and caves that are home to an incredible amount of colorful hard and soft corals, basket and tube sponges, sea fans and anemones, along with other marine critters and fishes. The waters are teeming with active marine life. Divers can expect to see the Angelfish, turtles, Eagle Rays, Barracudas and the Giant Napoleon Wrasse, amonst other fishes. Divers can even catch a glimpse of the elusive pigmy seahorse. Hydrology Condition
With its geographic location spanning the equatorial line, Manado enjoys fairly consistent water temperature of about 30 Celsius (84 Fahrenheit) throughout the year with excellent visibility. During the occasional monsoon squalls, the diving activities can be routed to the opposite of the island on the Lembeh Island.
