Home of the infamous Komodo Dragon, the area is home to a variety of exciting dive sites to encounter schools of fish, large pelagic creatures and beautiful reefs. The waters are also notorious for its cold waters and very fast currents.

Boat
Join the MV Tarata for year-round liveaboard diving cruises in the Komodo National Park. Trips last around 6 to 7 nights, with departure and arrival at Labuan Bajo. Discover iconic dive sites such as Current City, Manta Point, the Yellow Wall of Texas and Manta Alley amongst others. The itinerary includes a stop at Rinca to witness the Komodo Dragon.
Dive facilities on the M/V Tarata includes camera equipment setup and charging stations, individual gear kit-up stations, as well as fresh water showers on the dive deck. The upper deck of the M/V Tarata accommodates 12 guests in 6 en-suite cabins. All cabins are equipped with AV and a choice of either twin bunk beds or double beds. In addition, there are also open areas for socializing and entertainment that includes a fan-cooled lounge/dining room where guests can enjoy freshly served Indonesian and European dishes on-demand, as well as the shaded sun deck that provides a relaxing area to rest and unwind after a diving session with breathtaking views.

Marine Life
Komodo is one of Indonesia’s driest regions. A land visit and short trakking to see the huge Komodo dragons at Rinca island will be included. Underwater, Komodo offers just about every type of diving; from current-swept seamounts patrolled by sharks, tuna and other pelagics to calm reefs with teeming schools of fish.
Hydrology Condition
Diving in the north: Best time frame would be during the southeast monsoon season that ranges from late March to Early May, and late September to early November. Expect currents to be present at this time.
Average water Temperature ranges from 24 Celsius – 29 Celsius. Visibility conditions 20m – 25m.
Diving in the south: Best time frame to dive is during the northwest monsoon season that ranges from mid November to early March.
Average water temperature ranges from 21 Celsius – 27 Celsius, with visibility ranging 10 m – 15 m.

A day before the trip, guests are to be expected in Bali to stay overnight, if the guests are departure from Jakarta need take earlier flight and land at Labuan Bajo before 7AM at trip day.
- Day 01: Morning, depart to Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival - transfer to the M/V. Tarata. Proceed to 2 dives include night dive (L,D)
- Day 02: 4 dives around KOMODO (B,L,D)
- Day 03: 4 dives around KOMODO (B,L,D)
- Day 04: 4 dives around KOMODO (B,L,D)
- Day 05: 2 dives around KOMODO, afternoon trekking at Rinca Island (B,L,D)
- Day 06: After breakfast - transfer to the airport for flight back to Bali/Jakarta.
